Rob Flaherty is President and a Senior Partner of Ketchum, the global public relations firm with 102 offices and affiliates worldwide. Rob serves on the agency's Worldwide Executive Committee and is responsible for the agency's Global Research Network. As a client counselor, Rob's areas of specialization are corporate positioning and issues management. He regularly facilitates sessions with client executives to develop corporate positioning and identify actions that will shape the reputation desired by a company, including some of the world's most successful technology companies. Flaherty has counseled IBM for over 10 years. On the issues management front, he has helped companies prepare for and respond to challenging situations ranging from product liability and airline accidents to data scurity and anti-trust litigation. He serves on the board of the Institute for Public Relations and Room to Read, which focuses on literacy and girls education in developing nations. He also serves as a senior judge in the annual PRSA Silver Anvil competition.
