Mark Bain was Global Director of Communications for Baker & McKenzie, one of the world’s largest law firms, from 2007-11. Prior to that, he ran his own advisory firm, upper 90 consulting, and was a Senior Advisor with the Reputation Institute. For more than a decade, he headed global corporate communications for Alticor Inc., and in 2005, his group was named PR Week’s Corporate Team of the Year. Mark spent 15 years with Burson-Marsteller, the global public relations firm, in its New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Tokyo offices. He is a two-time winner of the Public Relations Society of America’s Silver Anvil Award, and for his contributions to building industry reputation, he received a Distinguished Service Award from the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations in 2005. Mark earned his B.S. degree from the University of Utah’s Department of Communications in 1979.
